Natural stone and marble
In all our areas of expertise natural stone and attachment technology are a special field in the area of material testing. Besides mechanical and chemical testing, it also includes the inspection of damage to structural members made of natural stone, marble, the supervision of production and execution, as well as consultation and applied research.Our constant cooperation in national and European standards committees and in experts committees for natural stone ensures the necessary exchange of knowledge and experience.
Together with the Deutsche Naturwerkstein-Verband (DNV, German Association for Natural Stone which is used for construction) we organize seminars on technical developments. This is an important part of the LGA's relationship with the handcraft and marble industry in the area of natural stone which is used for construction.
With competence, neutrality, and independence damage and condition inspections of components and buildings made of natural stone are carried out by expert engineers. These inspections are used before courts and for private as well as public contractors. Tests made on site and in a laboratory help find out the causes of damage. If problems cover many specialist fields we are able to solve them without subcontracting anybody.
